Having a standing desk is wonderful, but standing for more than 1 hour was difficult for me. It didn’t feel natural. I have to move when I’m standing so that it’s not such a burden for my lower back.
I had an indoor cycling bike. I lifted my desk and set up my bike under the table. I tried to use it, but the experience was terrible. I couldn’t do both at the same time. Of course, my bike wasn’t meant for use under the table. It is an ordinary bike that you can see at the gym. So, I gave my bike to my friend.
I was looking for a treadmill that is meant for use under the desk. There were many, but because I weigh a lot, it was risky to buy those. I finally found one, the Walkdesk WTB100, and purchased it. Yes, this treadmill is excellent. I can’t run on this because the speed is 0.8-6 km/h. It’s mostly walking speed, and I can’t adjust the incline on this treadmill, but I don’t need to. I like the treadmill. I can read a book, play with my labs, and do most everything when I’m walking. Yes, it takes time to adjust, and maybe it’s not for everyone. As for me, I like it. I can even play a game when I’m walking. It’s essential that your standing desk doesn’t shake a lot.
